What Is a Red Light Session?
Red light wellness devices use visible red light and, in some cases, near infrared light. Panels, masks, lasers, and other products do not all have the same output or intended use. Results from one device or research protocol should not be treated as proof that every device produces the same result.
A studio session usually involves standing or sitting near a light panel for a set period. Follow the instructions provided for distance, session length, skin exposure, and eye protection. There is no universal dose that is right for every device or every person.
What You May Notice
The session is quiet and low effort. You may notice mild warmth, or you may feel very little while the panel is on. A stronger sensation does not mean a better session.
People often add red light to a broader wellness routine because it is easy to schedule before or after another service. Pairing services is a personal preference, not a guarantee of faster recovery or a better result.
Keep Product Claims Specific
Terms such as clinical grade, medical grade, or FDA cleared should apply to a verified device and a specific authorized use. They should not be used as broad proof that a wellness panel diagnoses, prevents, or treats a health condition.
Baseline offers red light sessions as a general wellness service. We do not present a session as a treatment for pain, inflammation, hair loss, thyroid conditions, hormone concerns, or any other medical condition.
Before You Book
Follow the studio's safety instructions and use eye protection when directed. If you have light sensitivity, a health condition, or any reason to avoid bright light, ask a qualified health care professional whether a session is appropriate for you.
